What the teeth whitening eligibility quiz checks
The quiz is a short set of questions about your teeth and your history with whitening. It is not a medical assessment, and it does not replace a visit to your dentist; it is how we decide whether an UpWhiten session is a sensible next step for you before you book. The quiz asks about:
- Sensitive teeth, and whether whitening has bothered you before.
- Existing dental work such as crowns, veneers, bonding or fillings on your front teeth, since whitening changes natural enamel and not restorations.
- Gum health, and whether your gums bleed, feel sore or are receding.
- Whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- What you want from your smile, so the session can be planned around it.
What happens after the quiz
If you qualify, you can pick a time right away. A session takes about an hour at the Ottawa studio on Baseline Road, and Affirm financing is available if you would rather spread the cost. If the quiz shows that whitening is not the right fit for you at the moment, you get a short note explaining why, and what would need to change first.
