Teeth whitening eligibility quiz: are you a suitable candidate?
This free one-minute UpWhiten quiz asks about your teeth and your whitening history and tells you whether teeth whitening in Ottawa suits you.
A 1-minute assessment to tell us about your dental history and what you want for your smile. Find out right away if you qualify for that whiter, confident smile.
What the teeth whitening eligibility quiz checks
The quiz is a short set of questions about your teeth and your history with whitening. It is how we decide whether an UpWhiten session is a sensible next step for you before you book. We are not a dental clinic and do not provide dental diagnosis or treatment. If you have a dental problem, see your dentist first. The quiz asks about:
- Sensitive teeth, and whether whitening has bothered you before.
- Existing dental work such as crowns, veneers, bonding or fillings on your front teeth, since whitening changes natural enamel and not restorations.
- Gum health, and whether your gums bleed, feel sore or are receding.
- Whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- What you want from your smile, so the session can be planned around it.
What happens after the quiz
If you qualify, you can pick a time right away for your free shade scan, the Complimentary Shade Consultation. Strips and kits never read your shade; at the studio, NanoChroma™ reads it before any gel is opened. At UpWhiten, NanoChroma™ predicts your result before your first session, with 99.98% prediction accuracy. If the quiz shows that whitening is not the right fit for you at the moment, you get a short note explaining why, and what would need to change first.
